How to upgrade D-Link DNS-323 Network Attached Storage Firmware

This is a straight how-to on how to upgrade your D-Link DNS-323 Network Attached Storage to the latest firmware release, currently 1.05. Below are details of the firmware version 1.05.
- Add BitTorrent Support
- Add LLTD Support
- Add Jumbo Frame Support up to 9000
- Add option to re-configure the Hard Drive configuration as RAID 1 when installing the 2nd new Hard Disk
- Add Korean and Turkish codepage support in the FTP client language settings
- Add .info domain support for email alerts
- Fixed Hard Disk formatting on certain drives
- Fixed Print Server support
- Fixed iTunes support for large music libraries
To upgrade your D-Link DNS-323 firmware, follow the steps below.
Download the latest firmware at D-Link’s support site or click here, save the file to your hard drive.
1. Login to your D-Link DNS-323 admin page 192.168.0.32 is the default ip.
2. Click on Tools then Firmware, click on browse button, locate and select the firmware file you’ve downloaded.

3. Click apply button, do not turn off or power cycle the device until it is finished upgrading the firmware. Once upgrading is complete, the D-Link DNS-323 will automatically power cycle itself.
4. To verify that you have successfully upgraded the firmware, login to the device admin page and you will see the current firmware version at the right top-most part of the page.
